Congratulations to our Travel Award Recipients!

This year four individuals were chosen to receive $500 for travel to conferences:

Qing Zhou presented “Polarized assembly and disassembly-mediated protein degradation of the flagellum attachment zone filament in Trypanosoma brucei” at the 25th Annual Molecular Parasitology Meeting in Woods Hole.

Sarah Bauer presented “Glucose-dependent, dynamic localization of a trypanosome-specific peroxin, TbPEX13.1.” at the Kinetoplastid Molecular Cell Biology Meeting VI in Woods Hole.

Anna Albisetti will present “FPC4: a special guest at the FPC party” at the Kinetoplastid Molecular Cell Biology Meeting VI in Woods Hole.

Tiffanie Fowlkes will present “Determining if flagella assembly by the intraflagellar transport pathway is essential for viability throughout the Leishmania life cycle” at the 2014 Cilia meeting in Paris.
